Annual Planning

Annual Management Plans (AMPs) are developed with consideration for each hatchery's production cycle and serve to organize and guide operations related to production goals, broodstock management, and harvest management of hatchery-produced salmon. Production goals include targets such as egg take by species and stock, as well as rearing and release plans for existing fish inventory. AMPs allow for review of planned activities for consistency with permits and regulations. Approval of an AMP does not limit or prevent a permit holder from acting in accordance with the hatchery permit or an emergency order.
